    I’ve had this table for a little over a year now and use it frequently for various school functions and family gatherings. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the price, but I am totally impressed with the quality and the looks of this table (I had mine finished in mahogany). It still looks as good and works as well as it did when I first got it. I get a lot of positive comments about this table wherever I set it up. I’ve purchased a couple others since, including a custom chess table and the quality is the same. I couldn’t be happier.

    I have had the complete joy of owning this table (natural birch) for a few years now and I can say it is one of the best items I own. I recently learned that one must have a separate table in one’s furniture arsenal for creative endeavors, and this is the one I’ve equipped. Magic happens when you have a separate space and the ease of use, the ooh’s and ahh’s heard from surprised onlookers, not to mention the portability are all reasons to have this table. If you should covet at all, covet table owners who have this handy chattel.

    As a person who needs to read, study, and compute on a weekly basis in an occupation that takes me here, there, and everywhere this table has been a godsend. Going on a work trip and don’t like the seedy little desks in your motel room, pull this baby out. Going to the park and want to do some work in nature….pull this out and check. The first time I saw this little desk was in a horrid little movie with Val Kilmer, who played an author who whipped this out in a scene, and I was smitten. So much so that I immediately searched it out and purchased one. This little thing is sturdy and well made. You don’t have worry about accidently breaking it because you didn’t treat it as a dainty. As others have mentioned, when you pop this thing open people immediately ask about it. If it looks like something you would use and you are on the fence, make the jump. It is well worth it.
