Just a few weeks before Thanksgiving, needed a dining table extension. Ordered a 3×3 poly-top folding table. Yuk. Looked awful, to narrow, too short
Found Spiderlegs, ordered a custom folding picnic table to exact dimensions needed. Sent Buzz a Picture of existing dining table.
I don’t know how he did it, but wood/stain was a near perfect pattern/color match for existing dining table. I ordered with a thicker custom top for nominally more dollars.
Quality is excellent. Very sturdy. Can’t say enough great things about this table. Stand-alone, or , used as an extension.
Thanks Buzz!
This table is incredibly cleverly designed, November 07, 2010

This table is incredibly cleverly designed. It’s lightweight and folds up very compactly but opens up into a sturdy table that is very well made and has very solid hardware. I got a picnic-table size top with coffee-table height legs. I live in a tiny house with no dining room. When I have guests over for dinner, I set this table up in the living room and we can just pull chairs up to it or sit on the floor. Love it!

I LOVE IT!!! I saw it for sale on the Target website of all places and I didn’t think anything I might get from them would be of any great quality, but the price was right so I went ahead and I am SO glad I did. It’s just the right size, folds up in a moment, is light and easy to carry and sets up again like a breeze. I’m THRILLED!!

I have owned this table for several years, and it is still in new condition! I use it on a daily basis as a second desk, and it is a great extension for my dining table. It easily fits in my car trunk, so it always goes along for picnics and camping. My game night friends often ask me to bring it with me when it is their turn to host, and I love to demonstrate how easy it is to carry, set-up, and fold away. The design is both strong and stable. My next acquisition will be a bench set.

I have had two laptop tables in my apartment for several years, and they get used on a daily basis in a variety of uses. I have also taken one on car trips for quick roadside picnics. Being a baby boomer and child of the sixties, I am especially delighted that this product is an unsurpassed TV tray!
…high quality and elegant, March 16, 2010

I have found these tables to be really high quality and elegant. I have this folding card table and I will use it on family game nights and also bring it out when we have large family get-togethers. It folds out easily and works great as an extra surface for food or party favors and then stores easily in our closet for next time.

This coffee table has been very useful while being a college student. Since I move around a lot its extremely convenient to be able to have a coffee table that folds up for transport and then opens back up with ease and looks like a fancy wooden coffee table. I have used this coffee table for everything! Right now it is in front of my couch with my laptop and an additional monitor on it. I have taken the coffee table camping and fit it into my 2 person backpacking tent so that I could study for the GRE inside my tent at night and have a flat surface to work on. It fit in there just fine and was perfect! It is my favorite piece of furniture by far!!
So convenient!, February 2, 2010
I love this laptop desk because I can take it anywhere in my house. It’s light, large enough for my laptop and other papers, and I can fold up up and put it away within seconds. I highly recommend it! |

This folding table is much nicer than the image suggests. In the picture, it looks as if the legs aren’t completely straight, but that’s not the case — the high-quality locking hinges extend fully. When in use, the table is stable and steady, and when collapsed requires very little storage space. A beautifully simple and functional alternative to wobbly aluminum TV trays, which is our use for them. Well worth the cost, and highly recommended!

This little table unfolds from what is basically a wooden suitcase that you can store anywhere – I fold it up and store it under my futon couch when I need the extra space in my tiny studio.
Unfolding it to create the table, and re-folding it to put it away are both really easy. When unfolded, it is a very attractive little table – friends who have come over have been really surprised that it folds up because they didn’t even notice the small hinges on the legs! When folded up, it just looks like a small wooden box; you’d never know it’s a table.
Perhaps the main caveat is that you can’t put more than 75 pounds on this table – the hinges on the legs would buckle under that kind of weight. But I put my feet up on it all the time and its no problem.
This little table is a great versatile and space-saving addition to my small living space!
